A motivated leader ready to manage and lead client relationships with confidence. You like instilling confidence in clients and providing motivation to the team. You are a master of balancing both team and client expectations. You instinctively learn every facet of a client’s business and are prepared to discuss goals, KPI’s and industry trends. You take an active role in the generation and enforcement of project scopes. You will advise the Account Director on proper agency response to project questions or concerns. You love to communicate, and you do it well.

A fast-paced creative ad agency in East Austin in search of an account superhero to join our team of bright minds. We don’t want to be the biggest or richest, just the best. Our client roster includes work with brands like People Magazine, Red Bull, Cavender’s Boots, Camp Gladiator, Moviehouse & Eatery, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Foster and grow strong client relationships with 6-8 clients at a time
  • Coordinate and lead team meetings and presentations
  • Work seamlessly with all agency departments to develop effective strategies, briefings and creative and campaign work
  • Advocate on behalf of the agency to clients and keep internal teams focused and excited, driving the work down a path of success
  • Own all agency-client relationships, managing everything from day-to-day responsibilities to long-term scope growth opportunities
  • Manage client expectations and recognize critical issues, with the ability to resolve the issues with dedicated strategic thinking
  • Ability to manage up directly to the partner team

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience (2+ at an agency)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Challenges status quo and seeks alternate approaches in campaign development through well-crafted strategy
  • Has experience in traditional and digital/social media to include production
  • Ability to understand and manage details of a campaign in the context of a larger picture
  • Cultivates strong business acumen
  • Experience writing, managing and growing statements of work
  • Management of internal resources and creative team distribution
  • Has firm understanding of media landscape and strategies
  • Ownership and maintenance of budget
  • Understanding of and ability to speak to competitive landscapes and how that applies to current business
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, eager to find the next big project
