POSITION: Account Services Intern

 

REPORTS TO: Director of Account Service 

 

YOU: A college junior or senior interested in the world of advertising and marketing. 

 

US: A remote branding agency based in Austin, TX. 

 

OVERVIEW: The Account Service Intern will provide support to the Account Service team and their assigned account(s) to assure execution of assigned projects in a manner that enables the agency to maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. They will support the internal agency staff in their efforts to serve the clients’ needs in a responsive, efficient, effective, and accurate manner. Other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assist in planning, analyzing and evaluating information relevant to assigned client projects, as well as clients’ or teams’ needs.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with clients, internal teams, vendors, peers and agency leadership at all times – through electronic correspondence, presentations, and phone conversations. 
  • Collaborate with the internal team in preparation of recommendations, marketing strategies and actionable items for the client.
  • Take detailed notes during all meetings so that both clients and internal team members know what was discussed and next steps are recorded accordingly. 
  • Update client-facing status documents and write follow-ups/recaps to be shared with the client. 
  • Help keep everything and everyone organized so projects keep moving. A major function of account service is management of assets, feedback, and tasks in our time-keeping and project management systems. 
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure projects are initiated, creatives have the information and assets necessary, and items are delivered on time. 
  • Participate in internal brainstorming sessions with the creative, interactive, production, and or strategy teams, and assist in the preparation of client presentations. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Seeking a degree or experience in marketing, advertising, or business preferred. 
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets, social media, paid media, or design preferred. 
  • Must be able to work 15-20 hours per week. 
  • Must be able to meet for onsite agency events and client meetings in Austin, TX up to twice per month. 

 

Compensation:

$20/hr
